Often parents of babies and very young children ask us: "At what age should my child be before I bring her/him to the dentist?" Because we want future dental visits to be pleasant experiences, we encourage parents to bring their children with them while they are having routine checkups. At this time, our playing with the child includes touching the instruments, looking and "counting" teeth, (if there are any!) and receiving a toy for being so well-behaved--all with the purpose of making visits to us FUN! As adults, these children will look back fondly, upon their introductory visits to the dentist.
