TMJ Disorders

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder is an acute or chronic pain, especially in the muscles of mastication and/or inflammation of the temporomandibular joint, which connects the mandible to the skull.

The main signs and symptoms of the disorder are pain and tenderness around the Joints and muscles of mastication, limitation and incoordination of jaw movement, joint sounds (clicking or noise from the joints), headaches and impaired sound perception.

At the Smile Dental Studio, we provide a variety of options to treat the disorders. Some of the options are mouth guards, bite therapy and Botox injections.
